This Rare and Large ~ 7" Tall Paper Mache Jack-O'-Lantern is sure to be a focal point of many Halloween collections due to it's large size, vibrant colors and (believed to be) all-original handle and face insert (has some wear/tear)! This is one of the earliest American example of Pulp Paper Mache. We personally love the stem, facial expression, hand-painted eyebrow and large original construct opening on the back! This JOL is most likely from the 1930s but these were produced through the 1930s and 1940s. Battery operated with bulb (looks to be in good condition on both - untested) and made in USA! Good Vintage condition (may include blemishes, scuffs, paint loss, rips/tears, candle wax, holes, etc.)!
