Vintage Halloween Rosbro E. Rosen Hard Plastic Orange Clown Toy ~ 1950s Hard Plastic Candy/Lollipop Holder

This clown is in good vintage condition overall with some wear and tear (blemishes/scuffs/fading, etc.), but is missing its original base with wheels. As far as we're aware, this specific Rosbro clown was never issued without the base/wheels like Pete the clown, the Rosbro Halloween Snowman, etc. and if you look closely at the bottom of this sample, you can see residue from where the base was originally; our best guess is that a collector in the 1950s or 1960s simply removed the wheels so the piece would be static. As a result, the base is semi-flimsy, but the piece still displays exceptionally well! The small hole next to the left hand (when looking at the piece) is meant to hold lollipops and came that way directly from Rosbro/E. Rosen. Approximately 3" wide and 5.5" tall.
