Vintage Halloween Paper Mache Pumpkin 1940s/1950s

Vintage used condition with typical pulp wear (blemishes, scuffs, paint loss, small rips/tears, etc.), but overall very sturdy considering age. Missing original face insert, which appears to have been replaced decades ago with some sort of handmade cloth-like material. Black residue on inside of pumpkin from burning candles in it years ago.
