This rare and large ~ 11" tall paper mache jack-o'-lantern is sure to be a focal point of almost all vintage / antique Halloween collections due to it's large size, lid, closed features, vibrant colors and scarcity! This item is in good vintage paper mache condition with some standard pulp wear including a) paint loss areas on the bottom lip, cheeks, rim of main JOL as well as bottom of lid and in a few other random spots throughout the pumpkin and b) a smaller hole in the bottom of the JOL (may also include additional blemishes, scuffs, paint loss, small rips/tears, etc.). We absolutely love this hard to find piece, that many collectors believe is a cookie jar, and have considered it a cherished focal point of our collection! Most likely made in the ~1960s due to the closed features! Overall this piece is very vibrant, has minimal major condition issues (other than the hole in the center of the bottom) and displays better than the overwhelming majority of paper mach items we've ever listed at Eerie Emporium!
