Welcome to Eerie Emporium's auction for this rare, original early 1930s Owl diecut made by Gibson Art Company of Cincinnati, Ohio! At almost 100 years old, this antique decoration features a wicked owl, perched atop a withered branch, holding a sign that reads "Wise Up! This Is A Party Not A Funeral!" Gibson's design elements including the coloring, owl details and classic Halloween party sign, as well as the overall imagery, make this one of our absolute favorite Gibson diecuts! This sample is in vintage condition with wear consistent with many items from the era including blemishes, surface tears, creases, scuffs, discoloration, tape, etc. However, we believe this piece of Halloween history still displays very well! Made in the USA, measuring ~13.5" h x 7" w. Add this Spooktacular owl and holiday party themed decoration to your vintage or antique Halloween collection!
