This scare, flocked paper mache American choir boy jack-o'-lantern is extremely hard to find (this is the only one we've ever come across!)! Unusual and charmingly creepy, this jack would've original been issued covered in a metallic foil which when discarded revealed the beautiful velvet / velour texture visible in this example! In vintage condition with standard pulp wear (may include blemishes, scuffs, paint loss, small rips/tears, holes, candle wax, etc.), but overall this example is very sturdy and displays exceptionally well! Missing original face insert and handle. We've seen collectors state that this particular JOL was manufactured around 1950, and while we cannot 100% confirm that date, we believe the JOL is from the 1950s/1960s and made in America.
